Luna & Loom (Mock Concept Design)

1. Brand Background :

This is a high-end handcrafted fragrance candle studio located in a metropolitan area. Their handcrafted soy candles use pure natural soy wax and incorporate unique herbal essential oils, focusing on creating a "bedtime ritual". The products are premium-priced, targeting urban professionals with high work stress who pursue quality of life.

"Luna & Loom weaves stillness into the city night. Weaving the gentleness of night time (Luna) and the warmth of craftsmanship (Loom) into a sensory ritual for inner peace."

I am thinking that what can symbolise 'loom'. It means weaving. However, excessive lines makes the logo looks abundant.

3. Original Design

I refined the "Luna & Loom" logo to resolve visual blurring at small scales, such as on circular stickers, by simplifying the hand to three abstract lines. To create visual harmony, I unified the line weight of the hand to match the brand's elegant serif font and removed the wrist curves so the hand merges geometrically with the moon's arc. Furthermore, I increased the design's sophistication by sharpening the moon's crescent points and introduced spacing around the simplified light point droplet to remove congestion and create an ethereal quality. It is the moon symbolising 'Luna'. The hand symbolise craftmanship, means 'Loom'.
